Drawbridge from Grand Isle to North Hero

ejunto is a not-for-profit corporation operating on the island of North Hero in Lake Champlain. It was founded in the spring of 2005 by former National Park Service Ranger Andrew Julow with the mission of bringing quality historical and philosphical audiobooks to the public domain.

The name ejunto is tribute to Benjamin Franklin's Junto society. Formed in 1727 in Philadelphia, Junto members met weekly to discuss their readings and research with an eye toward mutual improvement. ejunto.com is an electronic model of Franklin's orginal Junto.

Andrew Julow

President and Treasurer

Andrew's love of history began at an early age. He received a history degree from Montana State University and worked at the Shelburne Museum and Independence National Historical Park before moving back to his home state of Vermont and founding Heritage Kayak Tours. Andrew owns and operates a computer consulting company.

Brett Alder
San Diego, California
Clerk

It has taken Brett twenty years to figure out how fascinating history and philosophy can be and he is trying to make up for lost time. He graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in Computer Science, lived in Mexico, worked on TurboTax® for the web, and is now a Sales Account Manager for Hamamatsu Corporation in San Diego

Bill Caughlin
Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania

Bill is a National Park Service Ranger who as worked at Fort McHenry in Baltimore and is currently stationed at Independence National Historic Park in Philadelphia. He was instrumental in launching the Park Service's Underground Railroad tour in 2004. Bill also serves as a volunteer member of the the Drexel Hill fire department. Bill's knowledge and enthusiasm for history are an asset to ejunto.
